When you move, of course, you have to quit your job unless there are opportunities to relocate with the company or to work remotely. One of the best mentors I ever had told me that the best way to make decisions is to listen to your gut. Once you've made the decision to resign, it's important to do it as smoothly and gracefully as possible.
